This make-ahead hamburger pasta casserole will give you a hearty meal that once put together will have dinner on the table in less than half an hour. The rich tomato sauce, along with the seasoned beef, vegetables, pasta, and melty cheese makes for a delicious home-cooked meal all in one pot!

Hamburger Pasta Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz. rotini pasta, cooked 1-2 minutes under package directions, drained
- 1 lb. lean ground beef, browned and cooled
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups mixed vegetables, frozen
- 14 oz. pasta sauce or Red Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Assembly instructions:
- Place cheeses in a medium size freezer bag.
- Mix all other ingredients in a large bowl.
- Transfer to a large resealable freezer bag.
- Remove excess air, and seal both bags.
- Staple bags together above the seal and freeze.

Cooking instructions:
- Thaw.
- Spread in a baking or casserole dish and top with the cheeses.
- Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.

Serving Suggestions for Hamburger Pasta Casserole
With the mixed vegetables, this recipe is a one-pot meal ready to go. However, you can serve it with a side garden salad or garlic bread.

Recipe Variations
Easily change up this recipe by switching which type of frozen vegetables you use.
This dish can be made vegetarian by substituting a veggie ground round for the ground beef. I personally prefer the texture of ground round if I brown it first although that step isn’t necessary.
