Smash Burgers Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard powder
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Day of Cooking:
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
Assembly Instructions:
- Combine ingredients in a bowl.
- Form into 8 balls.
- Freeze balls on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer bag when fully frozen.

Cooking Instructions:
- Thaw.
- Season with salt.
- Place thawed burger balls on oiled BBQ grill or in heated oil in a skillet, 1 at a time (if in skillet).
- Flatten immediately with a metal spatula.
- Cook to desired doneness, flipping halfway through.
- Serve on burger buns or in between lettuce leaves with your desired burger toppings.

How to Serve this Recipe
These burgers can be served however you would like, with your favorite burger toppings. You could include white or wheat buns, large lettuce leaves for a lettuce wrap, or go a little fancier with a nice brioche bun.
Toppings could include lettuce, tomato, pickles, purple onions, cheese of your choice, or change things up with caramelized onions, bacon, a fried egg, jalapeño slices, avocado slices, or sauteed mushrooms.

You can also switch up your sauces to completely change the flavor of these burgers. Some sauces could include burger sauce, garlic aioli, Chipotle mayo, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, or spicy ketchup.
