Cheeseburger Sliders

Everything you love about a cheeseburger is inside these delicious sliders. They make the perfect appetizer for a party, lunch for school or work, or even a casual dinner on the weekends.

Cheeseburger Sliders Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 buns
  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, browned and cooled
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 cup Tex-Mex or cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. Everything Bagel seasoning

Assembly instructions:

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the ground beef, garlic, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard together in a small bowl.
  • Slice buns lengthwise and open. Set the bottom of the buns down in a foil tray.
  • Spread both sides with the mayo mixture.
  • Sprinkle the bottom buns with half of the cheese.
  • Spoon the meat mixture evenly on top of the cheese.
  • Lay out sliced pickles.
  • Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and replace the top “lid” of the buns.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with Everything Bagel seasoning.
  • Top with foil, freeze.

Cooking instructions:

  • Thaw.
  • Bake, covered, at 375° for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melty and ooey-gooey.
  • Remove the cover and return to the oven for 5 more minutes to allow the bits to crisp up.

What to Serve with This Recipe

We paired these sliders with a crunchy side salad. You could also include French fries, tater tots, sweet potato fries, or onion rings. Macaroni and cheese makes for a comforting meal, along with coleslaw.
