Big Mac Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef, browned and cooled
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 onion minced
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, finely diced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
For the Day of Cooking
- 1 head of shredded iceberg lettuce
- Thousand Island dressing
- sesame seeds (optional)
- fresh tomatoes (optional)
Assembly instructions:
- Add shredded cheese to a medium freezer bag.
- Place cooked and cooled ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, minced onion, and diced dill pickles in a large freezer bag.
- Remove excess air and seal.
- Staple bags together above the seal.
- Freeze.

Cooking instructions:
- Thaw.
- If you want the meat mixture warm, heat it in a skillet or microwave.
- Make salads with the lettuce, topped with the meat mixture, and then topped with the shredded cheese and Thousand Island dressing.
- Add fresh diced tomatoes and sesame seeds if desired.

Ways to Adapt This Recipe
