The dish features rotini pasta, ground beef, diced onions, and green peppers, all coated in a tangy tomato-based sauce and topped with melted, gooey cheddar cheese. The cheese is perfectly melted and stretchy, adding a comforting, cheesy finish.

“Without chili sauce and chili powder for us, very nice and full meal, we enjoy it with a salad” – Marianne, Freezer Meals 101 Club Member

How to Serve Sloppy Joes Casserole

This dish can be paired with some delicious side options to make a full meal. Some of these could include our make-ahead garlic bread or cornbread muffins, roasted vegetables, a garden salad or coleslaw, or steamed broccoli.

How to Store Sloppy Joes Casserole

This casserole can be kept in a food storage container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. I would not refreeze it, or your noodles will become mushy when you thaw them. You can take any leftovers with you to work for lunch, or kids can take them in warm containers for school.
