Southwest Quinoa Bowl Suggestions:
- Adding Protein to Your Bowl: For our vegetarian or vegan friends, adding tofu, roasted chickpeas, or edamame to your bowl helps take the protein content up a notch. If you are a meat-eater, some grilled chicken breast, strips of steak, or medium boiled eggs are always great pairing options.
- Other Topping Ideas: While we love some creamy avocado and fresh cilantro on our bowl, you can really choose your own adventure with this dish. Seeds, chopped nuts, and other fresh herbs can add some fun texture or flavour to your bowl. If you have fresh cucumber, cherry tomatoes, or pickled red onions on hand, they also make delicious additions to the meal.
