Slow Cooker Steak Bite FAQs:

What’s the best cut of meat to use for steak bites? Sirloin is our go-to for making steak bites, balancing cost, tenderness, and flavour. Tenderloin is, you guessed it, very tender, but more costly. Ribeye and New York strip are also pricier, so we typically don’t go for those cuts for this meal.

What should I serve with Slow Cooker Steak Bites? Mashed potatoes are the infamously perfect pairing for steak bites, offering the perfect bed for the flavourful sauce and tender beef bites to sit on. We always pop some vegetables on the side for some greens. Oven-roasted asparagus, canned corn, steamed broccoli, or sautéed zucchini are always a favourite side for this recipe.

How do I store leftover steak bites? Simply place any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. While they can last up to three days, don’t be surprised if they disappear into snacking mouths before you know it!

Why slow cook steak bites? Slow cooking is like magic. And by magic, we mean it allows the deep, rich flavour of the butter, garlic, beef broth, parsley, and gravy to soak into your meat. Plus, the low and slow cooking method means for the tenderest of tender bites.
