Zippy Shredded Chicken Tacos
Tacos are always a family favorite, which means they’re the perfect addition to your regular dinner rotation. But why serve boring ground beef tacos when you can take the flavor of your dinner up a notch with the addition of ranch? These flavorful ranch chicken tacos are made in the slow cooker, resulting in a delicious addition to your taco night. And the best part is that you can prep the ingredients ahead of time and have them ready to go when you’re ready to start cooking!

Zippy Shredded Chicken Tacos Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 2 tablespoons or 1 packet dry ranch seasoning
- 14 ounces fire roasted diced tomatoes
- desired taco or nacho fixings for day of serving
Assembly Instructions:
- Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable freezer bag.
- Add the taco seasoning, ranch seasoning, and fire roasted tomatoes. Squeeze the bag to mix all the ingredients together.
- Remove excess air from the bag, seal it, and place it in the freezer until ready to start cooking.
Cooking instructions:
- Transfer the chicken to the refrigerator to thaw overnight.
- Pour all the ingredients into the bowl of your slow cooker and set to cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
- When the chicken is cooked through, use a fork to shred the meat and serve on tacos or nachos. Add whatever toppings you prefer.
Slow Cooker Ranch Chicken Recipe Ideas
