Creamy Mushroom One Pot Tortellini Suggestions:
What are the best mushrooms to use?
The best mushrooms to use in this recipe are white button mushrooms (also known as baby Bella). They are commonly available, affordable, and give that classic mushroom flavour and texture. If you’d like to spice things up a bit, feel free to experiment with Shiitake, oyster, or Porcini mushrooms for a variety of textures and flavours.

How can I add extra protein to this dish?
If you’re looking to add extra protein to your Creamy Mushroom One Pot Tortellini, there are a few great options: brown some of your favourite sausage and add that in, choose a chicken, beef, or pork filled tortellini rather than a cheese filled one, fry up some bacon, chop, and then add, or shred up a rotisserie chicken and serve on top.
How can I change the consistency of my sauce?
If your sauce becomes too thin, adding some extra parmesan can help thicken things up. If it becomes a bit too thick, an extra splash of heavy cream or chicken broth can bring it back to the creamy texture you’re looking for.
What should I serve with this Creamy Mushroom One Pot Tortellini?
This dish makes a perfect meal on its own, but will also pair well with your go-to salad kit or our all-time favourite freezer meal garlic bread.
