Hawaiian Ham Sheet Pan

I love a good sheet pan dinner, and the Hawaiian Ham Sheet Pan couldn’t be easier to prepare. There’s no need to cook the meat ahead of time, or even figure out how to cut a fresh pineapple. Simply toss together large chunks of ham and vegetables, open a can of pineapple – and dinner is ready for the oven!

Hawaiian Sheet Pan is such a family-friendly meal. The pineapple adds a touch of sweetness to the peppers and onions, and the salty, savory ham helps balance the sweetness. Anything that encourages my family to eat more vegetables feels like a win.

Ham Sheet Pan Substitutions:

If you have family members that are a little hesitant about the green peppers and purple onions, feel free to make a few simple swaps. Try using a different colour of pepper – orange peppers add a beautiful pop of colour to the meal – and consider chopping the onions more finely or substituting them with sweet onions for a milder flavour. While children may not immediately love these vegetables, regularly offering them and letting them see you enjoy them can gently encourage them to give new foods a try over time.
