Everything Bagel Salmon

With the help of a premade seasoning blend, you can enjoy a delicious meal with your family in no time. And the best part is that you only need five ingredients to prepare it! This everything bagel salmon recipe features flavorful seasoning mixed with cream cheese to create a delicious topping for your next fish dinner.
I’ve been trying to add more salmon into my diet for the past few years and having the meals in my freezer ensures that I do that. We also enjoy Ginger Soy Salmon, Mustard Crusted Salmon, and BBQ Salmon.
Everything Bagel Salmon Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
- 3/4 cup whipped cream cheese
- 4 to 5 tablespoons Everything Bagel seasoning
- 1/4 cup capers
Assembly Instructions:
- Place the salmon fillets in a large resealable freezer bag.
- In a separate medium bag, combine the whipped cream cheese, everything bagel seasoning, and capers.
- Remove excess air and seal the opening of each bag.
- Staple the bags together above the seal. Place the salmon in the freezer until you’re ready to start cooking.
Cooking instructions:
- Transfer the frozen salmon to the refrigerator to thaw overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Transfer the thawed salmon to the prepared baking sheet and dry the top of each piece with a paper towel.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the top of each piece of salmon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Everything Bagel Salmon Sheet Pan Meal
This easy recipe for baked salmon makes the perfect main course for dinner. But it can easily be adjusted to include sides, as well.
If you want to turn your everything bagel salmon into a sheet pan meal, simply arrange some vegetables around the salmon on the pan. The veggies will cook along with the salmon so your entire meal is ready to enjoy all at once!
Since the salmon cooks fairly quickly, you’ll need to choose fast cooking vegetables to prepare with the fish to ensure everything on the pan cooks properly. Try adding these veggies to your sheet pan to create a one-pan meal for dinner:
- Baby tomatoes
- Green beans
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Thinly sliced carrots
- Bell peppers
- Onions
- Lemon slices
- Mushrooms
- Zucchini
To add more flavor and help the veggies cook more quickly, try tossing them in olive oil and seasoning them with salt and pepper. Then, spread them in an even layer on the pan around the salmon pieces.

To make everything bagel seasoning, you’ll need:
- Poppy seeds
- Black sesame seeds
- Regular sesame seeds
- Black sesame seeds
- Dried garlic flakes
- Dried onion flakes
- Maldon sea salt flakes (this is the important one!)
How Do I Store Everything Bagel Salmon?
This delicious dinner is sure to be a hit with the family! But if you have any leftovers when the meal is over, they should be stored in the refrigerator. Transfer the extra salmon to an airtight container and it will stay good for up to four days in the fridge.
- 1 1/2 lbs. salmon fillets
- 3/4 cup whipped cream cheese
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. Everything Bagel seasoning
- 1/4 cup capers
