Chicken Jalapeno Popper Dip will be the talk of the town, and will disappear as fast as you can say the name of the recipe. It’s just that good.

Warm, creamy, spicy, full of flavor….all great ways to describe this dip. It’s also full of meat — so it has protein and isn’t just empty calories you sometimes get with party food. How to Make Chicken Jalapeno Popper Dip
Assembly Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients.
- Place in a large freezer bag or directly into a freezer safe, oven safe dish.
- Cover and freeze.

Baking Instructions
- Thaw in the fridge overnight.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until the edges begin to bubble.
- If desired, sprinkle with sliced green onions.
- Serve with tortilla chips or raw veggies for dipping.

How do I know when the dip is ready?
It should be hot and bubbly. If it will be sitting out at room temperature for a while, make sure to get it good and hot so it stays warm longer. Keeping it in a warm crock pot, a hot casserole dish in an insulated liner, or on a chafing dish (heated food warmer) will make sure it stays safe!
How do you soften cream cheese?
Do not microwave it. Instead, set it out at room temperature for two or three hours for best results.
Chicken Jalapeno Popper Dip Recipe Ideas
I highly recommend using a shredded rotisserie chicken. It’s so easy and convenient and makes a good amount of dip. You should be able to get a double recipe of dip with one chicken!
If you have leftover chicken, you can also use that. Using a hand mixer to shred up cooked chicken works fast and easy.
To quickly cook chicken to shred for this recipe, you can put two chicken breasts in an Instant Pot, cook it for ten minutes on high pressure. Then release the pressure and use the hand mixer to shred it easily. You can also shred it with a fork by hand if desired. After shredding it, I recommend chopping it into bite sized pieces so that it is easy to dip.
Jarred red peppers or pimentos, drained, add a nice touch of color and flavor to this dip.
If you love cheese, you can add one extra cup of cheddar or parmesan to increase the cheese flavor.
You may wish to add other spices. For instance, salt and pepper to taste. Paprika may add a nice flavor for you. Experiment with other spices, to see what you like. One teaspoon should be sufficient.
Bump up the heat significantly with one of these options: add red pepper flakes, leave the some of the seeds of the jalepeno in the dip, or add a dash of your favorite hot sauce.
If you love tuna, you can also make the dip from drained, flaked tuna.
Cook six slices of bacon quickly and easily by cutting it into small strips using scissors directly into your hot skillet. Stir consistently (but not constantly) to keep the bits separated and cook them fast.

How do I store Chicken Jalapeno Popper Dip
If the dip has set out on the counter for several hours at a party, I recommend disposing of it. If you simply have leftovers, make sure to refrigerate them in an airtight container and they will keep for a few days. Reheat leftovers in a microwave.

One chicken breast shredded is the equivalent of one cup, so if you have a lot of shredded chicken, for example from a rotisserie chicken, use two cups for this recipe.
