Cheeseburger Quesadillas Recipe
Ingredients:
8 flour tortillas, large
1/2 lb. lean ground beef, browned and cooled
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp. pickled relish
Assembly instructions:
Sprinkle cheese and ground beef on half of a flour tortilla.
Top with a bit of the relish.
Fold over the other half of the tortilla.
Lay on a parchment paper-covered baking sheet.
Freeze quesadillas on the baking sheet.
Once frozen, place into large freezer bags, remove excess air, seal, and return to the freezer.
Cooking instructions:
Remove the desired number of quesadillas from the freezer bag and reseal it.
Thaw.
Heat quesadillas on a large skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes, turning once.
Or heat in a 350° oven on a baking sheet for 8-10 minutes.
Or in the Air Fryer at 350° for 8 minutes.
Serve as is or mix a bit of mayonnaise with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
How to Make Your Dipping Sauce
The classic flavors of these cheeseburger quesadillas pair great with this homemade dipping sauce.
On the day you are going to heat the quesadillas, mix a small amount (equal parts) of mayonnaise and ketchup. Add a small amount of mustard. Mix well and dip your quesadillas in the sauce.
How to Serve this Dish
You can serve this dish as it is or add sides to round out your meal. Meal ideas could include a fruit salad, a crunchy green salad, or coleslaw. You could also pair these with French fries or potato wedges.
