Everyone loved it. My son asked if we could do the same only with chicken next time. Will be amazing again. The pickles do add a little something something. – Myla, Freezer Meals 101 Member.

What is Rouladen?
Rouladen is a traditional German dish that is typically made by rolling thin slices of beef with a filling of bacon, onion, mustard, and pickles. It is then seared and simmered in a rich gray sauce and served with potatoes, red cabbage, or spaetzle. It is often served for Sunday dinners or special occasions and holidays.
What to Serve with this Dish
Traditional sides include potatoes (you could do mashed potatoes or roasted), braised red cabbage, or spaetzle. Other side dishes could include German potato salad, roasted carrots or parsnips, rolls or rye bread, or green beans with garlic butter.
