Spice up your dinner this week with this Buffalo chicken pasta. The spicy and cheesy sauce is the perfect combination with pasta. Plus, you can adjust the spice level to your comfort, making it a favorite weeknight meal for everyone!

Pasta is such a versatile ingredient to use for weeknight meals. Having your sauces frozen ahead of time makes for a quick and easy dinner. All you have to do is thaw your sauce and cook the pasta on the day of. Dinner will be ready in less than 30 minutes, which is perfect for those busy or late evenings.
This particular recipe is the ultimate in comfort food. I love Buffalo Chicken Dip, so I had been trying for years to create a pasta with those flavors but my attempts always fell short of what I was trying to achieve until I was finally able to perfect it with this recipe.

Buffalo Chicken Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, cooked and cubed
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Frank’s red hot sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup of ranch dressing
- 2 Tbsp. blue cheese
For the day of cooking
- 1 lb. penne pasta

Assembly instructions:
- Place ingredients in a large resealable freezer bag.
- Squish together to combine.
- Remove excess air, seal, and freeze.
Cooking instructions:
- Thaw.
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Drain.
- Spray a large casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Add the drained pasta and stir in the sauce.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Adaptation Ideas for Buffalo Chicken Pasta
If you like things spicy, you can add more Frank’s hot sauce. Or use your favorite hot sauce in place of Frank’s. For those who might not like the spice level, you can add less Frank’s.

Not a fan of blue cheese? Simply omit it.
To add a bit of crunch, you can top it with some sliced green onions.
How to Serve this for Dinner
There are many great side dish ideas to help round out this meal for your family or yourself.
Keep it simple and serve it with carrot and celery sticks to complement the buffalo flavors.
Other options include garlic bread, cheesy bread, roasted vegetables, a wedge salad, coleslaw, or corn on the cob.
