Can I freeze meat and vegetables together?

You sure can! Some vegetables freeze better than others (refer to the handy cheat sheet) but you can freeze vegetables in with meat for a more complete meal.

I've heard potatoes don't freeze well. Is that true?

Sort of. Raw potatoes don't typically freeze well. They get mushy and mealy when thawed, plus they can turn black. Already cooked or frozen potato products DO freeze well and we can show you how!
